Christopher Swisher is a photographer from Wayne, PA  who has exhibited at numerous juried photography and mixed media art shows. Recently Chris’s work has been seen at The Delaware Center for Contemporary Art, The Plein Air Brandywine Valley Exhibition, Wayne Art Center (Juror's Award 2017, Best in Show 2016, Honorable Mention 2015), Jenkins Arboretum (Honorable Mention 2017, 1st prize 2016, 2nd prize 2015, Ist Prize 2014), Audubon Center at Mill Grove (1st Prize 2017), Media Arts Council (Honorable Mention 2016), Main Line Art Center, Wallingford Art Center, The Grounds For Sculpture and The Philadelphia Sketch Club (1st Prize 2016).

Chris also photographs local musicians for their web sites and other publicity purposes and does much of the photography for the Tredyffrin Public Library in Strafford, PA.

Exhibitions of his work have been displayed at Radnor Township Library, Tredyffrin Public Library and Montgomery County Community College.

A lifelong educator in the academic computing field, Chris worked at The University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University and Franklin & Marshall College. As an adjunct faculty member at Drexel University’s College of Information Studies, Chris taught courses in information management tools, media production and photographic and darkroom techniques.
